Abolish Human Abortion...unplugged...

So, make no mistake about it, I'm for the immediate ending of abortion. But this is no way to go about doing it. Fighting against the Body Of Christ for not meeting your organization's imaginary standards.

What they do is take the words of James in James 1:27...regarding "pure and undefiled religion"...replace "widows and orphans" with "the unborn"...then raise the bar so high that no-one can satisfy the definition of "pure and undefiled". And they will admit that they don't measure up themselves...but you better do more. And, of course, they don't do anything for actual widows and orphans...which the text actually mentions.

Physician, heal thyself. You figure out how much has to be done before God is pleased with you (Uhm, grace?) and then worry about others, ok?

They love picketing local churches. No matter how active in ending abortion that church may be. Doesn't matter.

...And now, they have turned their sights on R.C. Sproul's church.

Let Reformation Charlotte inform you....

Mark them. Avoid them. If you wish to be a part of a legit group in the effort to end abortion, I'd highly recommend "Babies are Murdered Here".

Will the 'fly...fly again?

So, the 'fly has been sitting here, idle, for quite some time. Four years or so, to be precise.

I'm thinking it's time to breathe some new life into the old girl.

So much has been going on since its heyday, starting in late 2009 and onward. It began with health issues as I was weaning off various medications...then progressed on with a medical problem with Conn Syndrome which involves a growth on one of my adrenal glands. Something like that makes a mess of everything. Your mental capacity for one, your metabolism for another.

Then other things. Meds causing chronically high blood sugar. Ah, yes. Nothing like having syrup running through your brain.

Then the cataracts. So bad that I'd be riding in my wife's car and couldn't read the license plate of the car in front of us. But surgery fixed that.

Anyway, you get the idea.

Lots has been going on...if not here. Most of it being growth and progress in evangelistic efforts. I've been active doing outreach on the streets, doing open air preaching. And, working on a Biblical understanding of the importance of church membership for the street preacher.

Last we met here, my wife and I were in the process of looking for a good church to join. We finally found one. It's Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria Illinois. I'm thankful for them...both their good teaching, mutual accountability and support as well as their open support for street evangelism.

They also have a good focus on discipleship.

Anyway, that's a bit of background.

The 'Fly started in 2006 as I became increasingly frustrated with the church situation...mainly due to seekerism via Rick Warren. I had discovered the source of my frustration at a church we had joined...and found out that the errant teachings of Rick Warren was the culprit.

So many blog posts on so many topics. I think the heaviest year for posting was 2007 although I'd have to check. Then in late 2008 came Facebook...and a loss of focus. It was the "new kid". And my focus shifted...as did the focus of many.

So much has changed. While Warrenism is no longer prominent, the world has changed. Our society is steeped in moral relativity and with that all manner of confusion.

As I attempt to start activity at the 'fly back up, I'll be sorting through so many topics in an effort to learn more and be of help to my readers seeking the same.

May God bless you, my readers. And thank you for your prayers of support.

The Evil of American Society Reflected in Planned Parenthood

These are being posted here for quick reference. I plan on posting some thoughts about this. It's so horrendous that it's hard to know even where to start.

Perhaps with the sheer notion of killing children...who are made in the image of God?

Seems that there is an awakening going on. And the videos keep on coming out. May God grant our nation repentance.

Video 1: "Planned Parenthood Uses Partial-Birth Abortions to Sell Baby Parts"

Video 2: Haggling over the prices of baby parts and changing procedures to preserve saleable parts

Video 3: Human Capital and the Black Market

Video 4: Intact fetuses. Specific payments for specimens.

Video 5: Fetuses as line items.

Video 6: Inside the Planned Parenthood supply site.

Video 7: Custom abortions for a superior "product".

Video 8: Planned Parenthood Baby Parts Buyer StemExpress Wants "Another 50 Livers per Week".

Fred Butler discusses "Answers KJV Onlyists are Afraid You will Provide , Part 1

Well, here he goes again...spreading sound thinking. Having read various of his theological posts, I'm sure this will prove to be time well spent.

Testimony of a Former KJV Onlyist

Fred Butler of Grace To You was recently interviewed about his former belief in "King James Onlyism". If you, like me, have sometimes gone brain numb trying to get a handle on their position, you want to hear this. It's an hour and ten minutes. And worth it.

Enjoy!

The Advanced Preflood World

Yes, preflood man was advanced. I remember studying this when I was attending Logos at Grace Community Church 30 some years ago. Interesting stuff.

Now, of course, there are going to be some who just really think this is all phoney. Only problem is that archaeological finds are indicators of the past.

Facts are stubborn things. And saying that "aliens must've been here" is just a silly way of sidestepping things.

Here's an article that you just might want to read.

Also you might want to watch a couple videos, which includes material referenced in the link above. Aside from the fact that the pastor presenting the material could probably back away from Starbucks for a day or two, what he presents is pretty compelling.

Video 1
Video 2

Now, for the disclaimer. The pastor gives a great presentation of the law and gospel. *However*, he doesn't mention the need for repentance. He also does the usual "PrayThePrayerAndIfYouMeantItFromYourHeartYou'reSaved" spiel.

Nowhere in Scripture is anyone ever encouraged to look back at a prayer for assurance, no matter how sincere it may have been. It's about your life being conformed into greater and greater holiness.

The Progressive Nature of Jihad - Video.

To understand islam, you have to understand that jihad develops in stages... There are three.

The stages of Jihad. You decide where we are for yourself:

1. Stealth. When they are outnumbered. So they preach peace and tolerance. Victim status.

2. Defensive Jihad: When they have enough numbers to defend themselves they are called to engage in defensive jihad -- for example, against those who even present an intellectual danger to Islam. Begin to use terrorism. Boston marathon? "Workplace violence" on military bases.

3. Offensive Jihad. In majority. Commanded to fight non-muslims just because they are non-muslims. Violently subjugate all non-muslims.

And no, I'm not the Tim Brown named in the article ;-) !

Obama: Pay No Attention To The Unemployment Numbers!

From a friend on Facebook:

Today, the Obama Administration told Americans “not to read too much into” monthly jobs reports.

As it turns out, they’ve been encouraging Americans to do that for years. But after 41 straight months of unemployment over 8%, you don’t have to read between the lines to see the truth. President Obama’s policies have failed to get America working again.

Revealed: Hundreds of words to avoid using online if you don't want the government spying on you (and they include 'pork', 'cloud' and 'Mexico')

Here we go again...our government warning us of what to say and not to say. Everyday words such as "pork", "sick", and "water" among others. So, let me get it over with...

Yesterday I had some *pork*. A while later I felt a bit *sick*, thinking it might have been because of the *swine* I ate. I drank lots of *water* and the *wave* seemed to pass. I'm sure it wasn't the *flu*, or any other *infection*. I'm thankful my health hasn't gone *bust*, and whatever it was I hope I become more *resistant*...

There, that outta do it...Such government silliness!

GOOGLE SHUTS DOWN ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE BLOG: KSM TRIAL EDITION

"Given the company’s self-proclaimed devotion to free speech, I think Google ought to explain why it deleted the blog. If calling for the legal execution of the confessed mastermind of the murders of 3,000 people on American soil is too controversial a topic for Google Blogger, perhaps the famously progressive company should re-think its proclamation of support for the free exchange of ideas on its platforms."

I agree -- an explanation is due.
